Rosemary was born in Atkinson Township, Henry County, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Mayme (Cowells) DeRoo. She graduated from Atkinson High School. Rosemary married Anton "Tony" Entas on May 25, 1947 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Atkinson. Rosemary was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church until their closure, she then was a member of the St, John's Catholic Church, Galva. She was a lifetime member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading, music, sewing and gardening. She volunteered in her daughter, Beth's, 2nd grade classroom. She especially loved spending time with her family. Those who knew and loved her will miss her sweet smile, quick sense of humor and of course her generous, loving heart. Rosemary passed away at Hillcrest Home, rural Geneseo, Illinois. |
